pottery throw down!
Do I need to bring anything with me?No. We provide everything you need!
How long will my work take to dry?Drying times vary depending on the size of your work, what temp the studio is and the type of clay youre using. We usually say between 1-2 weeks.
Is there Parking?Yes! Parking is located out the front of the building. But if all the spaces are taken you can park in either of the two free car parks on Chapel St, Gorse Hill.
Do I need to wear a mask? You do not need to wear a mask in the studio but you must wear one when you are walking through the main building. I do however ask that you take lateral flow test before your arrival. Thank you :)
What should I wear?Clay doesn't usually stain clothes but just to be safe, wear some old clothes that you wouldn't mind getting dirty!
When will I come back and glaze my work?If you have purchased glazing as part of your package, then you will come back roughly 2 weeks after your first visit. We estimate a week for drying and firing times, so we ask you to book directly with your teacher, If you have not boked glazing, you can do this via the bookings area.
When will I collect my pottery?Roughly 2 weeks after your las visit.
Can you deliver my pottery?Yes, if you are unable to make it to the studio to collect your ceramic work then we can arrange to send it off for a small postage fee.
